“Skincare, it’s the truth. It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide”
-Rihanna
Rihanna wants to take all of our coins — and we are totally okay with it! Rihanna has been working on Fenty Skin as far back as March 2019, when she filed a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Fenty Skin trademark covers the following:
Medicated and non-medicated skincare
Soap
Body care
Personal care products
Accessories such as kits, tools and applicators.
According to Black Enterprise, there is no set date on when fans can expect the skincare line or an indication of the type of products that will launch. But one thing that Rihanna did confirm is that we can expect the line to meet the same standards of perfection and quality that distinguishes Fenty Beauty. Rihanna also shared that she has complete control over everything Fenty Beauty releases, including the shade names and the marketing language. “Oh yeah! I write all of the copy for the websites, the product descriptions, product names, the color names…” She is focused on achieving the same level of perfection and quality with Fenty Skin as she did with Fenty Beauty.
