Speaking positivity over your life can set the tone for your day and make it ten times better. Positive affirmations have become a huge part of my morning routine where I speak strong positive words about myself, my career, and my life.

Positive affirmations boost overall self-confidence and allow your mind to be peaceful. I’ve noticed how different my days are when I say my affirmations. I struggle with self-doubt a lot, and just saying the words out loud gives me comfort. Affirmations allow us to truly believe in ourselves and encourage us to speak firmly on our goals and dreams.

What Are Positive Affirmations?

Affirmations are phrases or mantras that a person says to themselves to improve their wellbeing. They help grow your self-esteem and allow you to overcome stress and anxiety. Positive affirmations push us to think positively and encourage us to see ourselves as worthy.

When applying affirmations, try saying them in the present form, and embrace each word in the sentence as you connect with them. When you affirm your self-worth and your dreams, you empower yourself and build confidence that everything you desire will come true.

You rewire the negative and doubtful parts of your mind, and you replace them with positive thoughts to form a go-getter mindset.

Speaking Positivity Over Your Day

I have to be honest, it’s a bit weird to speak to yourself in the mirror. It can even seem comical, but, the more you do it, the easier it gets.

To start each day on the right foot, wake up, make your bed, open up your drapes / blinds and speak positivity over your day. Whether it’s for confidence, an emotional boost, or even success, speak to yourself in front of a mirror, and say the words out loud. It is very important to say them out LOUD.

You want to make sure that you are saying each phrase with all of your might and believe each word as it comes out of your mouth. It’s okay if you don’t believe the words at first, the goal is that over time, these affirmations will change the way you see yourself.
